Process Serving, in its simplest form is giving proper notice to a Defendant/Respondent and sometimes the Plaintiff in a legal action. An individual identified as a process server, delivers the legal paper (Subpoena, summons, divorce papers, foreclosure notices etc.) to the individual(s) so designated on the face of the legal Document. In New York & the Five Boroughs the Department of Consumer Affairs licenses the process Server while the remaining counties require a New York State resident 18 years or older not a party to the action to serve process. The Civil State resident 18 years or older not a party to the action to serve process. The Civil Practice and Rules hereinafter referred to the CPLR, which govern process servers in New York, allow for either Personal only Delivery, Suitable Age, or Nail and Mail service. Process Once prides itself for over the last 12 years to achieve approximately 35% service by Personal only delivery when the norm is 21-25%. Hence the name Process One.

Executive Bios
Henry Todd Goodman is the President of Process One since 1989. He is affiliated with the National Association of Process Servers, which hosts an international membership as well. He is known and respected in the Garden City legal Community where his company Process One has its’ corporate headquarters for the last five years. His main contribution is consistent, on-time results with time sensitive matters associated with Personal Injury Law. For example: tolling the statute therefore saving the Attorney from costly malpractice lawsuits as a result of not filing a lawsuit in time. Mr. Goodman is still active in the field not just with behind-the-scene daily operations. Together with his carefully acquired team of consummate Professional Process Servers comprised of well trained field agents who come from all walks of life, Process One still is the preeminent process service company of Garden City, New York.
